Once we go live with the registry in 2012 you’ll be able to register domain names in any of the five new extensions through a network of ICANN accredited registrars such as GoDaddy or Register.com.
We hope to be able to provide you the opportunity to register the first Adrenaline TLD’s in early 2012. ICANN has set out a timeline for the launch of new TLDs which you can find here. Its kinda complicated so get in touch and we’ll explain it.
Once registrars begin to sell the five Adrenaline TLD’s they will be able to set the price. The competitive nature of the domain name market means prices for registrations won’t be much different to existing domain name registration prices.
Anyone can register an Adrenaline TLD but we would suggest you have a passion for one of the five sports otherwise it won’t make much sense. Learn more about how action sports can benefit from their own extension here
For sure. We’ll be opening up the registration period early for trademark and rights holders so you are able to secure your rights before anyone else. Sign up for our email letters to be notified when we you can begin securing your names.
Once you register your Adrenaline TLD domain name you can do anything your like with it. The most value you will get will be if you create content associated with the extension. For example if you register a .ski try something skiing related. But don’t worry you won’t have to give up any domain names you have already registered.
